The receipt for an import

Every import leaves a receipt: how many rows were in your file, and what CardZen wrote because of them. Open Loose ends and follow Recent imports to see them, newest first.

The receipt is the only place that lists an import as one thing. It shows the cost recorded, the purchases created, the cards costed, and any cards the import declared but has no photos for yet.

Undo in one action

Undo removes everything the import created: its purchases, the cards it declared, and the cost links it wrote. The receipt tells you exactly how many of each before you press it.

• It is all of it or none of it. There is no per-row or per-group undo, because a half-undone import is impossible to reason about later.
• Cards you photographed yourself are never touched, even when the import linked one of them to a purchase. Only the link goes.
• Unlinking restates cost the same way removing a card from a purchase does, so the cards still on that purchase re-divide what is left.
• Redoing an import takes a minute. Upload the same file again.

When undo is no longer offered

Once you have built on an import, undoing it would destroy real work, so the offer is withdrawn and the receipt says which record stopped it.

• A card from the import has been photographed.
• A card from the import is listed on eBay. End the listing first.
• A card from the import has been sold.
• A card from the import has been combined into a lot.
• A card or purchase from the import has been linked to something the import did not create.
• You typed a cost on one of the import's cards by hand.
• You edited one of the purchases the import created.
