  2. 2On the Overview tab, choose Connect eBay.
  3. 3Sign in to eBay and approve CardZen's access.
  4. 4Back in CardZen, confirm the Overview tab shows Connected — all permissions granted.
  5. 5Set your payment, shipping, and return policies on the Policies tab before you list.

What's on the eBay settings tabs

eBay settings is organized into tabs:

  • Overview — connection status, connected account, listing limits, and Disconnect.
  • Policies — your default payment, shipping, and return business policies.
  • Defaults — pricing inputs, format, Best Offer, duration, and other new-listing defaults.
  • Pricing — pricing strategy settings.
  • Templates — title and description templates.
  • Photos — auto-crop and image settings.
  • Notifications — what eBay events CardZen alerts you about.

What eBay can sync

  • Active listing data, traffic, and offers.
  • Purchase and sales history within eBay's current 60-day import window.
  • Itemized sales fees when the connected account grants finance access.
  • Your listing policy choices.
  • Listing publish and revise status.

Search sold listings on eBay

eBay now requires a sign-in to view sold and completed listings. Wherever CardZen shows comps — the card editor, the listing comp panel, and Card Show on the iPhone app — a Search sold on eBay button opens eBay's sold results for that card, already filled in. It moves front and center when CardZen has no sold comps of its own to show.

The button uses your own eBay sign-in. Sign in once and later opens land straight on the results. CardZen only opens the page — it doesn't read anything back from it.

How often eBay data refreshes

Once your account is connected, CardZen keeps it current on its own — there's nothing to press. Sales arrive as eBay reports them, and a twice-daily sweep catches anything the live feed missed. Best Offers are checked through the day, so a pending offer reaches you well inside eBay's 48-hour window. Listing views and impressions are recorded once a night, which is why a new listing's traffic chart fills in day by day rather than all at once.

Every connected account is included in each sweep in turn, so the timing holds whether you list ten cards a month or a thousand.

Reconnect when asked

eBay tokens expire, and older connections may not include every permission CardZen now uses. If CardZen asks you to reconnect for fee sync or account access, just run the Connect eBay flow again — your existing CardZen records stay in place. The Overview tab is also where you'll see a warning if the connection ever needs attention.
