Where to find it

Open any purchase to see the Cards in this purchase panel. It lists every card that came from the purchase, along with the allocation summary: total cost, allocated cost, and remaining cost.

Most cards appear automatically

Cards captured into the purchase's batch show up here on their own, already carrying their share of the cost — whether you used the camera, drag & drop, or the iPhone app.

To start capturing for this purchase, choose Capture cards. The capture flow opens with the purchase's batch already selected.

Use Link existing cards when a card was captured outside its purchase batch, bought off-platform, or recorded before purchase batches existed. Listed and sold cards are available too, as long as their purchase cost has not already been assigned.

Link several cards at once

When a sale has a card attached but no cost basis, add that same card to its purchase here. The sale then uses the card's purchase cost and historical profit updates. The card stays Sold. Attaching a card to a sale alone does not attach its purchase.

You can link more cards than the purchase was logged for. The cost re-splits across the linked cards. Any per-card cost you set by hand is left alone.

1. 1Open the purchase and choose Link existing cards. The picker opens below the cost breakdown and allocation panels.
2. 2Search all available cards, including listed and sold cards. Use the batch list and stage filter to narrow the results, then tick the cards you want. Changing the stage updates the batch list and its card counts; batches without matching cards are hidden. Selecting a batch only filters; Select all selects the current results. Your selection stays selected when you change filters. Cards already linked to the purchase remain visible below the picker.
3. 3Choose Link N cards to save the links and return to the purchase. If some cards cannot be linked, they stay selected so you can retry. Cancel closes the picker without saving your selection.

Add cards to a purchase from the Cards page

This is the quickest way to catch up after an import, when cards are already in your inventory but no purchase is attached to them yet.

A card can only belong to one purchase, because its cost would otherwise be counted twice and your profit would be wrong. Cards in your selection that already have a purchase are skipped and CardZen tells you how many. To move a card to a different purchase, remove it from its current one first.

If the purchase was still waiting on photos for those cards, the awaiting-photos placeholders are replaced by the real cards you added, and the purchase's batch closes when it is empty. If other cards still need capturing or review, the batch stays open. Closed batches remain in your batch history.

Adding to a purchase that already has all its cards is allowed. CardZen tells you how the cost will re-split before you confirm.

1. 1Open Cards and tick the cards that came from the same purchase.
2. 2Choose Add to purchase.
3. 3Pick the purchase. The list starts with purchases that still have room; switch to All to reach one that already looks complete.
4. 4Check the preview — it shows what the purchase already holds and what each card will cost — then choose Add.

Let CardZen find the matches

Matches are ranked on the set, the year, how close the purchase date is to when you captured the card, and whether the purchase names your player or card number.

Nothing is attached until you confirm, and a match is only ever a suggestion — CardZen never links cards to purchases on its own.

Purchases that already have all their cards are left out of the suggestions. To attach a card to one of those, use Add to purchase on the Cards page and switch the list to All.

2. 2CardZen compares every card that has no purchase against the purchases still waiting on cards, and lists what it thinks belongs together.
3. 3Strong matches are already ticked. Untick anything you disagree with, or choose Skip to drop a row.
4. 4Choose Add to attach the cards you kept.

Split the cost

• Cost splits evenly across the cards in the purchase by default.
• Allocated and Remaining are highlighted in amber when cost is left to allocate. Red highlighting and Over-allocated show when assigned costs exceed the purchase total. Balanced amounts stay neutral. Choose Edit costs in Cards in this purchase to edit card costs inside the same box. Choose Done to return to the card list. Cost edits save immediately. Reset to equal split removes custom costs and restores automatic allocation.
• Allocated plus remaining always adds up to the purchase total, so you can spot unassigned cost at a glance.

Boxes and lots

For a box or lot where the card count is not known up front, set how many cards the purchase contains. CardZen uses that count to suggest a sensible per-card cost as you add cards.
